Suri Herdsire (Male) Medium Brown

AOA# 1158427 DOB: 5/31/200519 yrs
If your looking for an elite herdsire, look no furthur. Jaguar is producing babies that are out of this world. They are extremely dense, with a greasy type high caliber luster to them. The coverage on these babies is to the ground. He throwing a very stylish phenotypical looking alpaca that will advance the suri industry well into the future. If that's not enough take a look at his pedigree. He's a Jak Accoyo Kalvin son on the top side, and A macgyver grandson on the bottom side. What a combinat ...

BRKRD ZARINA

Suri Open (Female) Light Fawn

AOA# 32364033 DOB: 9/27/201113 yrs
Zarina is a stud production female. Zarina has an outstanding foundation on both sides of her pedigree so it is no wonder that she produced a very good cria out of USA Peruvian Jaguar in the Fall of 2014 named Bozeman. She has very lustrous fleece with great lock structure throughout, she has very good EPDs (see pictures), and she has a very sound Suri conformation. We expect her to continue to produce like that as she is bred to the best to produce some of the best. On 6/9/17 Zarina had ...

WE WANT BOZEMAN TO HAVE A CHANCE TO BE A HERDSIRE FOR SOMEONE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE JUST STARTING A HERD. GREAT PEDIGREE, GREAT CONFORMATION, AND PRETTY GOOD FIBER STATS.

Bozeman is a very good male suri alpaca. While Bozeman has not won as high of accolades of our young star of the farm, Black Beau's Comet, he has placed in the top 3 in the shows we sent him to last year. It didn't seem worth it to continue to show him because he was never going to quite stack up to Comet. Judge's always had great things to say about him and in the final analysis, though, they always had spectacularly great things to say about Comet.

Bozeman's conformation is superb. Solid body, good bone structure, level back, great fleece coverage to his toes, and a superb head fitting the Suri phenotype. That beautiful head is inherited from both his dam and sire. Bozeman has a great pedigree including USA Peruvian Jaguar, Chesnimitz, Kalvin, Macgyver, Bruxo, Inca, and others I am probably missing. All of those great males produced champions and we expect Bozeman to do the same.

Bozeman's fiber statistics were very good when we sent in a clipping of his fleece to Yocom-McColl at age 10.5 months. His average fiber diameter at that time was 20.0 microns with a standard deviation of 4.3 microns. At 18.5 months we had him shorn and sent in a sample as part of the 2016 EPD Testing. At that time it had gone up to 22.8 micron with a standard deviation of 6.9 microns. His fleece has luster, locks, density, and uniformity across the blanket. The density is inherited as his sire USA Peruvian Jaguar is top 1% for fleece weight and staple length regrowth.
