Suri Herdsire (Male) Light Brown

AOA# 35118275 DOB: 11/29/20149 yrs
Comet is a 7 time banner winner and is the result of combining some great genetics. His sire is Black Beau of PVA. Comet is from the Mahogany Prince to Kobe to Diamonte to Black Beau line of champion PVA genetics. Black Beau inherited great fleece statistics. Black Beau had EPDs that improved AFD, SDAFD, SF, %>30, MSL, and FW. It was expected that he'd improve every measurable aspect of a fleece in his progeny. Black Beau also had the most beautiful Suri conformation to pass on to his offspring. ...

Ask a question
Haley was sired by our 7 time banner winner Black Beau's Comet. Comet is a son of true black National and Futurity champion Black Beau, grandson of Diamonte, and great-grandson of Kobe. Yes, Comet is from that great PVA lineage. On the bottom of Comet's pedigree is a daughter of Saladin. Bay black Saladin sired some outstanding offspring including the true black champion Psylent Knight. Comet's dam's dam comes from a line that has great fleece stats in regards to fineness. Being sired by Comet means Haley definitely has great genetics on the top of her pedigree.

The bottom of Haley's pedigree is full of great genetics, too. Her dam is RKR Hexagon. Hexagon was sired by Suri Peak's Coal Man and Coal Man is known for siring champions as he is a 5 time Get of Sire winner. Hexagon's dam Patagonia's Ain't Misbehavin was the 2006 AOBA Nationals Black Female Champion. So, Haley was sired by a 7 time banner winner Comet whose true black sire was both a National and Futurity Champion and she was produced by the daughter of a Black Female National Champion. Haley definitely has champion black genetics!

All of those great black genetics found in her pedigree have produced a female in Haley that has a superb Suri phenotype. Her fleece is fine and is developing a nice consistent lock structure across the blanket. She has a very soft and cool handle to her lustrous fleece. Haley has good EPDs and those can be seen by clicking on the EPDs link. She is a special true black girl and we expect her to produce well.

Haley has been bred to Micah for a cria due in 2023.
